Trying to Conceive a Boy
There are many reasons why a couple might want to conceive a child whose gender is already known; trying to conceive a boy for instance, is a common aim in many cultures due possibly to religious and cultural situations. Gender planning is not a new process.
Traditionally in our distant past, men would form hunting parties whilst women might have tended to agricultural and nurturing needs. This situation is no longer relevant and the needs of society are much different. From an evolutionary point of view, natural selection has always provided the correct gender balance; modern society, however, is it possible to have better than a 50/50 chance for a certain gender?
There are many reasons why a couple might be trying to conceive a boy or girl, for instance, they may already have several children of one gender and wished to redress the balance in their household, or simply have a desire to choose a baby boy or girl.
So for a couple trying to conceive a baby boy, apart from a potentially dangerous medical intervention, what can be done?
Well, really there is not much that can be done. There will be many websites trying to persuade you that there is when trying to see you something, but this information is not reliable and should not be trusted. Scientifically, the chances of having a girl or boy are close to 50/50. For those who have taken any type of genetics course will understand this.
My recommendation to you is to go to a fertility clinic or doctor for more information on the topic. Do not trust online websites that prompt you to buy certain products to increase your chances of a boy or girl, it’s just not possible, and you will be wasting your money and time.
