Getting Pregnant While On Your Period

Do you believe the myth that you are not able to get pregnant when you are on your period?  That’s right it’s a myth, not true, false, a fake piece of knowledge.  Because you may actually be able to conceive during that time of the month too.  So the monthly cycle being present does not mean that you will not be able to get pregnant.  Normally you can say that most women will not be able to find themselves being pregnant after having sex while they are having their period.  Because in most cause that will mean that the egg has been released and is no longer their available to be fertilized by the sperm that will be released into the body.

Here is what the normal female body will go through during the cycle that is supposed to happen each month, 28 days for some in other cases it may be a bit more.  The egg will get let go from your egg sac and will go down the fallopian tube and be set into the uterus.  It will be here that the egg will wait patiently for many days to be fertilizes.  Having sex with a partner will release the sperm that will attempt to fertilize the egg and thus make you pregnant.  If this process is completed the egg will then become latched to the lining of the uterus where it will develop for those months of pregnancy.  However, if a sperm fails to fertilize that egg along with the lining that is in the uterus will flush from your body, thus your menstrual cycle.

That is why getting pregnant while on your period is usually something that will never happen.  Because well the egg will be gone and there will be nothing for the sperm to fertilize when it comes into the body.  However there are many people who have cycles that are not quite steady.  Meaning that at times there could be an egg released when they don’t expect it.  This could mean that when you have sex while a period is taking place an egg may have been released.

Plus there could be more to the process then just this.  Because those sperm can actually live for five full days or even more in the body.  That egg that comes along and get ready to be fertilized may find itself running into a sperm that you had forgotten about.  Leading to a pregnancy that happens and is one that many never thought could happen.

In a sense it is all about timing and whether a woman’s body has the cycle going steady.  If you are not trying to get pregnant this could be a surprise that you really are not looking forward to receiving.  But there are many women out there who are striving to become pregnant and just can’t seem to get fertilized.

It is in those cases that this may be a surprise that is very welcomed.  One that will be met with joy and happiness.  However, there are other ways that you may have sought out ways to become pregnant already.  Instead of trying to take the chance of getting pregnant while on your period there is an easier way.
